Editorial policy
Last updated: 22 October 2026
This website publishes health articles to help patients understand kidney, urinary tract and men's health conditions and their treatment options. This page explains who writes the content, how we prepare and review it, and how we keep it accurate and independent.
What we base it on
We prepare our content using reliable, up-to-date medical sources, including:
- Guidelines of the European Association of Urology (EAU).
- Guidelines of the American Urological Association (AUA).
- World Health Organization (WHO) recommendations on relevant topics, such as semen analysis.
- Research published in peer-reviewed medical journals, and the doctor's clinical experience.
How we prepare articles
- We write in clear language that non-specialists can understand, and explain medical terms when we use them.
- We present the available treatment options fairly, including watchful waiting when it is appropriate, and explain the benefits and risks of each.
- We point out the warning signs that need a doctor or the emergency department without delay.
- We avoid promising guaranteed results or overstating any treatment.
- Content is written in Arabic first, then translated into English and reviewed to match the medical meaning of the original.
Review and updates
The doctor reviews every article before it is published. We review the content again at least once a year, or sooner if new medical guidelines change the information. The date of the last review is shown at the top of each article.
Independence
- We don't publish sponsored content or advertising, and we receive no funding from pharmaceutical or medical device companies for our content.
- When we mention a brand name for a technology or device, it is to explain an available treatment option, not to promote it.
Corrections and feedback
If you find a mistake or something unclear in an article, please let us know by phone or WhatsApp. We review every comment, correct errors and update the review date where needed.
We can't give individual medical advice through messages. For that, please book an appointment.
Limits of our content
Our articles are general health education and don't replace a medical consultation. For more, read our medical disclaimer.
